I won this blender as a giveaway. I wasn't sure what to expect of it when I opened it and saw it didn't have a traditional blade. Overall it worked well the few times I used it. The only thing it didn't work well on was avocado. It just kept getting mashed under the blade and not mixing with the other ingredients. But I've made pesto, ice cream and a few other things since receiving the blender that it worked great on!

I bought a Ninja Duo blender but sent it back after seeing the Blendtec in action. I love the dull blades and ease of cleaning. It can quickly blend virtually anything. I use it at least twice a day, and it has been great for weight loss and improving the healthiness of my diet. Very easy to clean. The Blendtec twister jar is a necessity for peanut butter, sorbet, etc., and works very nicely. Very noisy at higher speeds- best to wear ear protection.

I cook a lot and this blender is a most useful tool. Besides using it for my vegetable and fruit drinks which is why I wanted it, I use it to puree tomatoes for pasta sauce. I still have not made soup in it but will do that soon! Love the powerful motor!!!

After wasting money on two cheaper brands I decided to invest in this unit. I'm very happy with the Blendec. it really does the job. The only slight negative for me is that there were very few recipe's. For the cost I feel they could do better on that. I don't want to spend time on the website searching for a recipe . I highly recommend this product.

We have protein shakes including frozen fruit and ice cubes every morning for bkfst. the blades in our old blender got a little bent from processing the shakes if we put ice cubes in them. The Blendtec does a great job. My only complaints are that it's really, really noisy and that sometimes, some of the liquid comes through the top between the removable plastic in the center of the top and the top itself.
