I like to do my research before I buy and also prefer spending a little extra to get a product that works well and last. This blender is no exception. It blends. The ease of use, the simple design and the ease of clean up makes this kitchen tool a great accessory in the kitchen. The 4 presets is a nice feature. The consistency of the blend is awesome, we've blended raw beets, raw broccoli with stem, celery without any chunks or large pieces left. The blades don't need sharpening and no need for stamper thing. It fits under our counter. :) Nothing is perfect so here are some things that are not so perfect for us, again small things but worth noting. We make 2 smoothies in 1 pass with the blender, first thing, follow the instruction on which food item goes first, it really does make a blending difference. The second, container is a little small for us when loading it with spinach and kale, protein, chia, banana and frozen fruit, need it 1-2 inches taller or a wider container would help. I don't there is a blender that does come with a mega size container though. Lastly it's loud, no joke this thing will rumble your house. It's got power for sure and be ready to hold it down sometimes as it may bounce around a little. overall we really like it, it does what it needs to and lives up to our blending expectations.

I am now the envy of my health circle and the go-to-guy for margarita parties. My tech friends and I are impressed that the blender looks like a touch screen tablet. This will blend frozen cocktails smoother than any bar. Best consistency of any blender. Blending frozen smoothies and coffee drinks daily. 2 cycles (one vegetable button 7 one drink button) and blueberry seeds are non-existent. I brought this to my family's house for Easter last weekend because my mom's "hi power blender" died that morning from overuse. she made flour, dough and homemade sauce from fresh ingredients using this. After dinner we made frozen cocktails and ice cream shakes. Love this thing. PS this is my 2nd Blendtec. Looking forward to the next generation that will work off phones, have internet access and be able to blend from the cloud server.

I obsessed over this thing for months. Well years, if you count the years I spent waiting for the day I could get a Vitamix, until I read that Blend-Tec was better. Walked into Bed, Bath and Beyond and was steered towards a lower model which was on special. I was very clear about my intended use and the lower model just wasn't right for me, and truthfully it freaked me out with how loud it was AND hopped around the counter while it blended. So that went back... But then I contacted Blend-Tec directly and got someone really helpful and honest on the phone. The machine is pricey, no doubt about it, and I wasn't really thinking about buying things that will last forever right now. But I did a payment plan and the machine arrived. Then I was so nervous about having spent money on a blender... A BLENDER??!!!!... that I kept it in the box in the car and drove around with it for a week before I even opened it. Well finally today I gave it a test run. Mind you, I had zero idea of what I was doing, but I drink a lot of pressed green juice, I spend a fortune on it, and I'm not about to buy a cold juice presser. So I got a bunch of organic greens and threw them in with some aloe water and voila. If you didn't smell the green-ness from where you are, there's something wrong (!) but now I see why they add things to green juice. So I tossed in 3 whole kiwis, skin and all. No problem. Machine handled it easily, and eventually I realized I didn't have to hold it down to keep it from spraying all over (old habit from old blender). The juice is great (well my recipe needs some work) and there was very very very little fiber left over, which means I got all the good stuff. This is one of those times when so far I can say, this was money well spent.

I tried so many other different products like Ninja, Magic Bullet and Breville juicer to try to get my kids drink their fruits and veggies. It was not so successful and most of it short lived on both parts I could say. For my kids, they don't like how these cheap blenders still leave chunks of veggies or frozen fruits on their smoothies and if you blend them too long it becomes too juicy. On my part, I don't like the cleaning part where you have to deal with the sharp blades and scrubbing the side of the gunk left. It always end up not getting used as I get lazy just thinking what a chore it is to clean up the mess. Then comes this Blendtec whom my friend is raving about and alas it went on sale at Frys Electronics so I grabbed one. My wife was skeptic at first but after tasting the smooth delicious texture, she was sold from day one. Even the baby carrots... you can barely detect them and nothing wasted like my juicer. My kids absolutely loved the blends even the ice cream! And what makes it amazing is it takes 10 seconds to clean. So we are using it everyday and gaining the health advantage from this wonderful product.

I've had my Blendtec for about six months now, and I still love it as much as I did on day one. It's very easy to use, SUPER easy to clean, and extremely powerful without having razor-sharp blades. At this point I have no complaints!

I bought my Blendtec Blender just before Christmas and have been using it steady since then. For sure it makes the best smoothies. I continue to learn it's many uses and am so glad I invested. Headed towards a plant based lifestyle and this is definitely helping on that journey.
