I bought this blender mainly to make smoothies and soups. It is so easy to use, and works very quickly. I like the fact that the blades are dull. I ruined several rubber spatulas on the sharp blades in my old blender. I appreciate all the support from Blendtec, especially the recipes on the website and the recipes of the week that I get in emails. Also, this blender is not as loud as I had expected, based on reviews I had read. I bought ear plugs to use with the blender, but it's not much louder than my food processor or previous blender.

I have now used my blentec daily for the last three years. Every morning for the last three years my husband makes a green smoothly for each of us. I also use it regularly to make frozen desserts, blend soups, make hummus, nut butters, mashed potatoes/cauliflower and almond milk. Don't use any other appliance more than my B blender. it is my workhorse. Have had no issues except that the plastic container is etched. Wish there was a glass container or Stainless Steel and wish it were quieter.

I bought this as a replacement for a montel williams blender that died after 5 years. I bought it about month ago and have only made smoothies every day since I bought it. It does a better job than any blender I have tried. No need to go to tropical smoothie any more. Saving money and I love it.
