AWESOME IPA

Got this as my second brew. it has a nice bold taste and is all hops. you do have to wait the full two weeks for it to condition though. we got a little impatient and cracked a few three days early and they were good but they were still a little malty and the head didnt last to long but after another few days they were great they had a great head and hafve a nice dark color to them

Although the color is darker than a traditional IPA, the flavor is spot on! My family and friends loved it and it was gone way too soon. Very easy right out of the can, I didn't add anything. I use corn sugar for bottling. Bold and hoppy that tickles the throat with malty background to balance it. Head retention was a little low but it held carbonation well. I reccomend letting it ferment AND bottle condition a few days longer than instructions, don't rush it!

GREAT IPA!

This was my 2nd brew I ever made and boy did I pick a great one! I'm slowly getting into liking IPA's and this knocked it out of the park. I add some 1/2 oz Galaxy hops to the brew process and dry hopped another 1/2 ounce after 2 weeks fermentation. The end product? Citrius/Grapefruit taste that packed a good punch. I was very pleased with the end product. My family members don't like IPA's and they all said it was fantastic! I don't even like grapefruit and I enjoyed this! Lol.

I wasn't sure if I was drinking a IPA or stout. It tasted more of a stout, really dark in color. It is nothing like an IPA.

When I first started brewing beer, I used it as an escape (you know something to keep myself busy). While I was searching for a hoppy IPA I could brew in my basement I ended up finding something much more important. I found myself. From the moment I opened the can I knew that there was no turning back. Although I had stored my refills in my cold basement, this one however, felt warm. As I poured the malt into a cold pot of water on my stove, to my amazement it began to boil. Stirring and Stirring I looked closely into the pot, and for a brief second I thought I saw him, Diablo. My glasses were beginning to fog up from the immense heat coming from the pot, and when I removed my glasses and peered in again …he was gone. Maybe he was never there, maybe the steam coming from the pot was messing with my vision. All I know is that when I looked into the pot again, I saw my reflection. I found myself.

If you like Bitter

My wife bought me MRB kit for Christmas and it came with Diablo. I'm a malt guy and cringed on this beer. As I am writing this is my first home brew and it turned out nice if you like IPA. Bitter on the end which I think I will do a little research to take the bite off the end. Hop heads will enjoy

Good IPA

The first time I made this, was good. I served it at a party, Must have been food......some people took it home, I drank it, and didn't find all that hoppy.......But, didn't condition it as long as I should have either.
This time Maby, I'll wait at least 3 week's to a month before I even take it out of the fermenter and leave sit in bottles for two to three week's.....Maybe it will be hoppier
