Assembly was fairly easy. It can be challenging to get the screen to fit the curve of the pit. The top lid fits, but not snugly.
It is a nice large surface for building a fire.
We needed a pit on wheels and this was the only option we could find at this time.

I bought this recently and so far it is working as described. Had some difficulties with assembly as top lid does not sit evenly on firescreen. Hopefully unit will self adjust.

I bought this about three weeks ago just now put it together the parts where all there and easy assembly for one person went really smoothly putting together, haven't used it yet because I live in Florida but now I'm ready

Love our new Fireplace!

We have used our new fireplace several times in our backyard and we just love it! It was pretty simple to assemble and we love how we can wheel it around with ease to different locations in the yard.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is the 3rd one of these for me, and I noticed - and like - the upgrades to the lid retainer and the air vent. If used with the air vent 'open', however, there will certainly be coals falling out of the bottom bowl, which is something I'll have to keep an eye on...should've put a catch pan down there, ( ? like the Weber kettle grill has?)...but me? I'll get a metal coffee can or the like for under there...:)
