I actually bought a second one because I like the portability and amount of wood it holds. The first one lasted exactly two years before rusting out. I wish the company would use thicker metal as it is very thin and will rust fast.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Extend the outdoor season

This nice little fireplace allows me to spend more time outside in the fall. It is easy to maneuver and add firewood. I got years of use out of a previous fireplace by another manufacturer, but it was heavy and awkward to use. So far, I like the Fire Sense better. I'm hoping it lasts as long. Suggestion: Spring for a cover.

Assembly instructions

The instructions to assembly the fireplace were fairly simple and packaged well. The fireplace seems to be a little light for the size of the unit. I will use caution when loading with dry logs. At the time of writing this review I have not used the fireplace yet.

It was bigger than I expected, so perfect for 6 people to sit around -- truly a small country bonfire for the porch! It is a little lighter/made of thinner metal than I expected, but was a fine gift for a little winter civilization.

great product for the price - lose the door, after a few fires and rust from rain it stops working - bolt package well sorted and numbered, paint bolt heads and washers so they don't stand out so prominently - damper on the bottom is overkill, ashes will cover it it's not good for clean out.

I bought this patio fire pit a week ago and the screen isn't fitting right and after using it the pilop rivets are starting to come loose other than that it is a good fire pit ( every fire pit I ever had did this
