Works very well and looks great

I bought this unit in November. It was fairly easy to assemble. It could have been much harder. It works well and looks great. Our dog likes lying under it almost as much as lying in the sun. It is a very reliable unit.

Love this heater!

This is our second patio heater - we had the former one for many years and loved having it.The lamp burned out after some years so we replaced it and got several more years use out of it. The lamp burned out again; we donated that heater to our local recycling center to use in their unheated office as they were interested in replacing the lamp rather than recycling the heater. We just received our new one. We put it together this past weekend and we are glad to have our sunroom warm again!

We bought this product in June 2017 and once assembled have been waiting for a cooler day on which we can use it. To date we have had it on a couple of times and it works well.

It puts out a good amount of heat, can be tilted, and plugs into a standard outlet. It's a good value for the money.

Takes the Chill Off

I bought this heater for our backyard patio to take the chill off a cold night. It does that, although don't expect it to heat you up on a very cold night.

IR Heater that Met My Needs

I would've given 5-stars however, there was damage to the internal packing causing cosmetic damage to the pole. Also, it's advertised as odorless; however, there is a moderate odor emitted after powering it on. It's been a few days of use and the smell is still there. Could be just a break-in period, but very noticeable oil/paint/burn scent when using indoors or in a screened patio. Assembly was easy and performed by one person. I performed Step 4 after Step 7 (figure 8) to allow more slack with the electrical cord because the cord bunched when connecting the support tube. Very sturdy base and would imagine it would take a very strong wind to knock it down. When adjusting the height of the telescoping pole, the electric cord would snag unless I fed or positioned the cord with my feet.
