So glad it's electric and don't have to worry about gas tanks. Gives off a good amount of heat. Hard to put together though. Nice looking too.

Received this as a Christmas gift. Have used it several times. Telescoping feature is very useful. Generates a lot of heat.

Great addition to our deck on chilly nights

I did a lot of research on patio heaters before ordering the Fire Sense electric model. I was concerned about the cost to operate and air pollution of the more common propane models. We knew we would only be using it to take the chill off as the weather changed this Fall - not to warm a large area. Given COVID will be with us for a while, we also knew we needed to figure out a way to visit with friends and family outside. We were pleasantly surprised at how sturdy it is and how much warmth it projects. We do have an open deck, not a covered area, so our expectation was not to keep us completely warm, but just to take the chill off. Living in Maine, it was unusually warm this summer, but we were not fooled - we knew we had to plan for the Fall and Winter. We are SO glad we did! It turned chilly at night WAY earlier than usual. I suspect these heaters will be difficult to get soon, and we have probably sold the idea to a number of neighbors!
This was a great choice for us, and except for a little challenge putting it toge (instructions weren't always very clear) it definitely exceeded our expectations!

Ancillary Heat for Covered Screened Patio

Just purchased 2 weeks ago. Have used several times. It provides targeted heat to support the wood burning fireplace in a large space. My kids love it. Quiet, no smell and very sturdy. I like the adjustable height. It does give off an orange glow, but most anything that generates decent heat will have a glow. I wish the head had curved ends to extend the heat radius but that's limited by a linear bulb. Got several compliments and inquiries on it this past weekend at my son's birthday party.

The heater does exactly what I need it to do. I have it in my front porch. It’s 10’x20’. I have partial windows in. Keeps it warm so I can sit out there at night.
