Great Warmth! Does the job!

This is a quality item, in my view. It has a very bright orange glow (only downside, but not taking any points off as i'm not sure that's avoidable) so it can hinder atmosphere, but the warmth is outstanding. Good portability, not too heavy but it's sturdy.

Keeps me outside all PANDEMIC!

I wanted to create a warm patio at my home in California in order to be able to stay outside and safe during COVID-19. This heater allows me to have family over anytime (except if it rains) and they can be safely distant and WARM! This year this heater allows me to have Thanksgiving outside! I’m delighted with the warmth and the ease of movement that this heater provides. Also, the telescoping neck was an important feature for me. The unit also comes with a cover for the heating element. I would definitely recommend this product.

I love that you can adjust the height of it, and that you can angle the head of it so you can direct the heat source to where you need it

Good Heater...Bad Directions for Installation

I opened the product yesterday and after installing I can say that it does what it says it will do in terms of heating an area. My issue was in the less than descriptive installation instructions and pictures. The pictures were in black and white and it was difficult to see exactly what to put where. There were a number of occasions where I made a guess as to which way something went. The frustration was in the fact that the parts would fit either way and of course in each case I guessed wrong. They need to get better pictures and angles of the installation and they need to highlight exactly which way an item needs to go (for example, they need a statement telling you to make sure the curved piece of the stand curves toward the lamp as opposed to away from the lamp). I'm happy with the product but did have a more frustrating assembly than was necessary.

The infrared is instant when you turn it on. I am very happy with it, I would recommend it to anyone who wants a heater for a similar use. This is a direct heat, the closer you are the hotter it is. Adjust where you want it in relation to your seating area. At night it actually provides light as well, much like a campfire. The rollers on the base are so useful, we move ours often. The outdoor space we have is long and each seating area is different. This is a very sturdy product and you can tell it is quality materials. Since I read the reviews about the assembly, I was extra careful. It wasn't hard to put together, but the pictures do not help. I actually assembled it without tightening the screws fully, actually had to undo one step and then it was back on track. Take your time when putting it together. 25 minutes is what it took. I am prepared to order an infrared bulb if needed, since that is a consumable item. But hopefully it last for a while. We have used this since July about 10 times. So far so good. BTW it also comes with a dust cover for the head of the unit. Nice!

Easy Assembly

The box looked intimidating at first, but assembly was easy, good directions and holes actually lined up. Too warm to use it yet. Not loving the look of it, but if it does the job and I don't have to deal with propane, I'll be happy.
