Quality Appearance, Good Value

I bought two of these patio heaters. The good: they appear to be high-quality and (see below) when they work, they look and feel great. Assembly does take a while, but that's maybe to be expected. The only downside is that one of my heaters would only start after (literally) hundreds of tries while the other starts immediately (I tried switching propane tanks, etc). I am working with customer service now to see how that might be resolved. The only other downside is that the sheet metal is very sharp. When working with the dysfunctional heater, my fingers and hand got all cut up from the sheet metal while trying to start the heater over-and-over again. I'm giving this a 4-star review in the hopes that my heater is simply defective and that if it were to start right away, maybe my hand wouldn't have gotten sliced-up.

Impressive look for the price

The end product is gorgeous ... be prepared for a lengthy assembly. Pieces arrived pristine in the box but wouldn't fit together well and we had to use force to get the holes to align. Also the last step of assembly (bottom panels) literally can't be installed without undoing screws placed earlier. But when all was done, its gorgeous! It's impressibly tall but that means not a ton of heat for open area seated height.

Functional heater

Once we got the heater built it has been a great addition to our patio. We didn’t have enough screws and some of the pieces were bent so we had to bend them back to fit. Had trouble getting the holes to match up. Directions were vague but we got the heater together.

Awesome Patio Heater

We just had our patio heater delivered and the assembly took less than 30 minutes from opening box to lighting heater for the first time. We are in Wisconsin and it was May 12th, 2020 temp outside was 49 degrees. Typically my wife and I would have enjoyed our glass of wine inside. Instead we were able to sit outside on the patio with our new heater keeping us toasty warm!!!

Inadequate instructions
on September 16, 2020

Somehow we ended up with assembly instructions that were different from what we were later emailed a link to. First of all, nowhere in the instructions did it say we had to align the bottom and middle plates so that we could install the door panel (the very last step). We ended up having to support the completely assembled heater at an angle so that we could remove the bottom plate, turn it 45 deg, then reinstall it. Then we realized that nowhere in the instructions (seeing the trend?) did it tell us how to turn the heater on. After a call into the company, we were emailed a link to instructions that had an entire page detailing how to turn it on. Our instructions did not contain that page.
Lots of headaches later, we were able to get the heater up & running just in time for out of town guests visiting on a record breaking cold night during the pandemic. Luckily we were able to use the heater & spent an enjoyable evening outside.

Very well designed and manufactured

Very nice construction and logical assembly steps. Directions are best followed by intense attention to the details for the drawings, rather than the very concise wording that accompanies them. All screws go back into the threads they come in, so there is no big bag of them, which I liked. I took my time and probably spent 2 hours on the assembly, and am very happy with the result. It looks and works great.

Looks great however assembly is an issue

We purchased 2 of these heaters and love the way they look. The main reason for the 3 star rating is the lack of assembly instructions and issues with stripped threads on the screws supplied.
The assembly instructions left a lot to be desired. The first one we put together had stripped threads on the screws and we decided to go to the local hardware store to purchase new screws instead of sending the heater back.
The heat given off is just okay. Visually it is quite attractive however the assembly instructions need to be re-written by someone who actually has put it together.
For example, the 3 studs should be fastened to the heat emitter prior to installing it. The tank and regulator could be installed before the 2 sides and back are put on. All the required screws should come in a separate pouch instead of being on the parts requiring them to be removed during assembly.
