I gave this heater a four star rating only because have only used twice. Must be easy to assemble because my wife assembled this heater. She forgot to add sand to bottom upon assembly. don't forget that. We live in the midwest and had a nice chilly evening. This heater gave out enough heat to make us nice and comphy.

I've bought and assembled 5 patio heaters in the past 10 years. This unit was by far the best quality for the price and easiest to assemble. It has more parts than the average unit due to its more sophisticated design. Fasteners are higher than average quality and do not strip the first time you tighten them. I built it in about an hour, hooked up the tank and lit it the first time. Generates a lot of heat and operates easily. Exceptional aesthetics and can compliment a nice patio decor with its colors. Very pleased.

Great Purchase

I bought this a month ago and am very pleased with it. It took me 30 minutes to assemble and I have used multiple times. I love it to the point that I'm ordering another one (I have a very large patio).

This is my third patio heater from Fire Sense and they do a wonderful job and when I had an igniter problem, the support was prompt to get me the correct part.

Great Heater

This is my 5th Firesense heater. I buy them for their quality and function. The reason I gave it 3 stars is the installation manual. The pictures are so bad they are worthless. My neighbor bought two heaters last week and his were the same way. Why bother with the poor quality manual.

Taller and wider than others, easy to maneouver

Took a bit of time to assemble, but the instructions were clear (pictures could be larger though). I did not even realize that there was a sand base, but that adds quite a bit of stability when filled properly. The heater started up first time and throws ample heat. I had a lower grade (non-branded) version that lasted a bit more than a year. I expect this one to be a longer investment, especially since I also purchased the full length cover and will bring it inside when the snow arrives.
