Economical, dependable printer

Been using ny iB4120 since Dec 2017.and printed over 3,000 pages. Printer works great! Excellent text print quality, no jams on single or duplex, fast, economical on ink. I don't print pictures so I can't comment on photo quality. But black is excellent, yellow is strong, blue is OK, but red is a little weak.
The down sides: 1) you can't change an ink cartridge until the printer thinks it empty.
2) Log on to printer is different from instructions.
But there is a work-around for both. You can remove a cartridge anytime you want by manually turning a gear inside the printer. Search Internet "how to remove ink cartridge from maxify printer"

This printer is a workhorse for our business. It prints all day on a double sided photo paper without any issues and is also very economical on ink usage.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Poor value for money

I am very unhappy with this printer which just stopped working after just 2 years. The wireless system never worked and this has proven to be a waste of money. I am very disappointed given that I have generally liked Canon printers

Printer works pretty good the only problem I had with it with the set up process which is a little more difficult than it should be.

Huge problem

If a bad cartridge is inserted then there is No.... repeat no way to replace it. I have hed to scrap this printer after 6 months and am extremely angry. You can't buy the ink cartridges over the counter either

Much better than expected. Some glitches

I've been more impressed with this printer than I expected. Overall, I'm quite pleased with it.
* Nice to have archival pigment ink when using Canon paper.
* Better print quality than expected.
* Faster than I expected.

Some disappointments:
* No "generic" profiles for Canon paper (I had to make my own)
* Clumsy to have to specify MediaType to avoid Error message that stops printing when I change paper.
* VERY hard to see LCD to view and change settings.
* Nice to have archival pigment ink when using Canon paper.
* Better print quality than expected.
* Faster than I expected.
