I like this opener and it works well but it was a replacement for an opener that didn’t leave sharp edges.. I would have preferred that but it was no longer available.

Nice opener

Works as expected. Comfortable in the hand. My old opener allowed me to open cans 2 different ways (traditional and safety cut). This tool only allows for traditional opening so be careful with those lids!

This replacement can opener is a slimmer design without compromise on the nice grip handles. The operation is easier and it fits in the utensil drawer space. I am very happy with it.

Durable and reliable

OXO is a trusted brand, and my family has purchased OXO products for years. A simple can opener is no exception. We have had our OXO can opener for over 5 years now, and it's still going strong. It still opens cans with ease and is easy to use. The larger handles make gripping the can opener easier, and the larger twist knob is easy to hold, making opening cans a breeze. It does have a little bit of weight to it but I don't mind because I know it's good quality and will last a long time. I recommend OXO to anyone looking for kitchen products and utensils at a more affordable price but with high-end quality.
