Easy grip, smooth can opener

It's the night before Thanksgiving and I asked my boyfriend to pick me up a new can opener because my other one was not gripping correctly. This can opener ended up being a lifesaver tonight! It took no effort to open multiple cans of vegetables for our Thanksgiving meal. The handle is very soft and doesn't hurt my hands. But what is great is the blade cut very smoothly and quickly. Overall, the best hand can opener that I have ever used.

Open cans like a pro

I am bad at opening cans. Like it's impossible for me to open a can with ease. I love oxo products and after using lot of can openers, i tried this at the farm volunteer at and ran home and bought myself one. It's so easy and sharp and opens cans with so much ease. I just love this brands products. They are really good quality.

XoXo Soft Grip Can Opener

Great Can Opener, this little can opener is light but mighty… it’s super easy to use! It also has a great grip and it performs really well and a stable grip. Very easy to maintain opening your can without much effort. Xoxo is a great company and very durable. I liked it so much I got 2 one for my kitchen and one for my Camper. Definitely worth the price

Still not as easy to turn as I expected the heavier duty to be.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The metal cutter is stronger than the 2 previous xox openers I purchased recently, but turning the knob is still extremely difficult for my aging hands. I need an easier to operate can opener.

Not a fan of the soft handled opener

Had this opener for a few years with very minimal usage. The drive gear struggles to maintain a hold on a #1 can. The drive gear constantly slips off the edge. The only way I can get it to work is to use the blade to puncture it all the way around the rim. And now the blade gear has become stuck. Wish I had my grandmother's old can opener. That thing was indestructible.
