Accurate Measurement for Dry and Wet Ingredients

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The OXO Good Grips 2-Cup Angled Measuring Cup has proved to be a valuable asset to my kitchen tool collection for both cooking and baking.
What I noticed first is the inner angled design. The inside of the cup allows for me to read measurement from above. This feature has been great for when pouring or filling with wet ingredients without having to stop and check if it's right about from the side.
The cup has a very a thick grip on the handle which is easy to hold onto. It's wide enough to accommodate many hand sizes. Atop the handle is a rest for thumb that ergonomically allows for the most comfortable grip possible while gripping the cup and moving it about the kitchen.
The easy pour spout is just the right size and allows me to pour the inner contents into something else without dripping down the cup and making a huge mess.
I do like that this is made out tritan material which is quite strong and can handle being dropped pretty well. I let my kids cook with me in the kitchen so things do get dropped often!
I am pleased as well the cup is BPA free and doesn't sport any odd smells or hang onto strong scents.
The measurement are in ounces, ml and cups and are easy to read since they are in a red color.
It is microwave safe but there's a warning to not heat up fat such as oil, butter, or margarine in this cup. It doesn't feel very hot after heating thing up in it but I would caution to be careful as always with anything coming out of the microwave.

It is top rack dishwasher safe and very easy to keep clean. Something I well appreciate is that the manufacturing stickers were easy to peel off without leaving residue behind.
This cup is very well made. It's not showing signs of wear such as cloudiness, scratches, fading of measurement markings, or anything else off-putting. I am quite pleased and highly recommend it!

Great Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this measuring cup. Because of the angled measurements, you do not have to lift up or move whatsoever to see the exact measurement. It is extremely convenient. My only concern is overall durability because it is plastic and not glass. But I am hand washing it instead of putting it in the dishwasher and hope it lasts a long time. I would highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my angled measuring cup for about 3 weeks, I find myself grabbing for it all the time. Its lightweight has a really nice handle. Its so easy to use. I make rice 3 times a week. It calls for 14 oz of chicken stock, so easy with this cup. Love It!

Perfect for tall people!

My husband is well over 6’5” and it’s a pain, literally, to bend over and get an accurate measurement on liquids. This has saved his back on numerous occasions and we both, even though I’m over a foot shorter, highly recommended it.

This is such a great tool to have in the kitchen. I can check measurements from the side as well as the top. At first I was skeptical because I thought the measuring cup was glass and it wasn’t. However, the cup is definitely one of my favorite baking purchases.

Sturdy and well made. The numbers stay put and do not wash off. I like the angled measuring option because I don't have to look on the side of the cup to make sure I have the correct amount of what I am measuring. This is great for measuring water for boiling rice and pasta or milk for baking.

I have used the oxo measuring cup for years! It is easy to see through and microwave/dishwasher safe. I have even used it with high temp foods like soup and taffy.

Why all measuring cups

Why all measuring cups are not the kind that you can view from above is a mystery to me. I bake quite often and these are excellent. I have even checked with weight to see if the above-view measurements are accurate, and they check out every time!
