Great little unit by GE

I bought one of these as a high school graduation gift for my daughter back in 2016. She was going to be living in a dorm in college that fall and this one is one of the few out there that has a separate freezer door from the fresh food door. She graduated in 2020 and passed it on to my son who just graduated in May 2024 and the unit is still going strong. He gave it back to her and she is using it in her office now. Never had one issue with it and we are going on 8 years now.

Excellent mini fridge!

Before I make a purchase I like to research things and deciding to get a mini fridge was no exception. I learned far more about mini fridges than most would care to know BUT if you are looking for a quality focused product that runs great and is quiet then this is the one. It’s true that this is more expensive than many “normal”
mini fridges you can pick up anywhere but this is also produced by GE (many only have a brand name slapped on but are actually produced by another, sometimes far less reputable, company) and the quality is apparent. My only complaint is minor and easily fixed; the internal light when you open the door is not LED. Now you can swap it out with a LED to save both the power draw and the heat that the non-led produces. At the end of the day the fridge gets and stays cold, the freezer keeps things frozen, and the overall build quality (along with looks!) are great. No, this isn’t a cheap mini fridge but as with so many things in life you get what you pay for.

Door can holder opening at top is not large enough to drop a standard size can in compartment. Not as shown on ads

Soda can dispenser isn't functional

Fridge works great, but the built in soda can dispenser is impossible. When you put all the cans in, they cannot be easily removed. I think they never tried it out after they designed it.

I love the fridge. It’s perfect for my bedroom to keep water, soda, and dog treats and that’s just the fridge. It’s also perfect for keeping ice cream in the freezer.
