To Register - or not to register...

The size we wanted was not available at 3 different stores, so we purchased this product to hold us over until we can purchase one.
Registering the warranty was not good. The directions enclosed with the product states to go to geapplianes.com/registration. In doing this, it defaults to "Canadian Residents Registration". We purchased the product in Naples, FL. Virtual was not available - to speak with a human on where I could register in USA. I called the 800-626-2005 and the recording states to go to geappliances.com. I did, routed to same Canadian registration. I just registered and hope that someone will contact me to ensure that it is registered. Website, virtual or phone not user friendly to obtain actual answers. Product, it was installed yesterday afternoon so I can't comment - but I have GE products at my home so I know it's reputable.
