Hi Marcia,
Thank you for taking the time to contact Electrolux Appliances, and myself, directly. We do appreciate your time and valued business. I’m sorry to hear of your concerns with cleaning your dishwasher. Your model appliance comes with a glass trap filter. Periodically, the glass trap filter and large food particle trap may need to be cleaned to maximize your wash performance. We do recommend cleaning the inside of your dishwasher as well to assist with any build up that may accumulate over the years. You may use a dishwasher cleaner such as Finish. Please review the steps on how to clean the filter on page 16 of your owner’s manual. If you do not have a copy of your manual, please copy and paste the link below. Kindest regards, Melinda - Electrolux Care Team.

Good unit but mold is a large issue
on February 10, 2016

WE have had our dishwasher for 8 years and have always notice a black mold issue on the bottom of the door gasket, silverware baskets and fine filter and glass filter. only way to rid, is to soak the units in bleech and water and scrub with a brush. We did not have this issue with other units and cleaning concoctions do not remove.

Hi Harleyman. We do regret to hear that you have experienced some trouble with mold inside of your dishwasher. We recommend running a cycle and adding white vinegar, baking soda, and dish soap after the initial fill has completed. Should you still experience this concern please contact us directly. Kindest Regards, Anna

Terrible diswasher

I bought this dishwasher 2 years ago and have had nothing but trouble with it. The pump was replaced within the first couple months, the electronics go crazy on a regular basis and then will reset after a few days, the washing isn't great either. The only good thing about this unit is how quiet it is. I will be replacing it with a much less expensive, and hopefully more reliable, dishwasher. I purchased an electrolux refrigerator at the same time and I've had the ice maker worked on 3 times. I will never purchase or recommend an Electrolux brand appliance again. Big expensive mistake!

FAQs don't help with spray arms not turning
on April 2, 2016

from Traveerse City, Michigan
The top and bottom spray arms are not turing. The top one is new and the bottom arm has been cleaned. The glass filter and the fine filter have been removed and cleaned. Water comes out of the spray arms, but they do not turn. There are no error lights lit up. Dishes don't get clean, and your website offers no help.

Horrible Dishwasher
on June 16, 2016

I purchased this dishwasher in 2010. It does a poor job of washing, especially if you place anything on the top rack. Because it is so quiet, we could not tell if the machine was on or not. I have had service out to fix the control panel. The control panel has now completely broken and I cannot get a replacement part for it. I have been trying to get a control panel since May 7, 2016...today is June 16, 2016 and I am starting over from square one!

Cleans very well!

We have had this for a few months now and really like it. I love the fast wash and blue light that shines on the floor when the cycle is complete. I do wish there was an indicator that it was running. Sometimes it's hard to tell because it is so quiet.

Drying plasticware

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish it dried my plasticware better. The controls are hard to understand.

Paula221, I am dismayed to hear of your dissatisfaction with your new dishwasher. When you turn the air dry option off, in response, the wash and rinse temperatures in the cycle will be increased. This will help with cleaning, and it will also get the dishwasher hotter. When the final drain removes all standing water, the extra heat stored in the dishware will act to evaporate the remaining water. Plastic doesn’t have the same thermal properties as glass or metal and does not get as hot, so they may end up collecting more water. Some plastics may need to be towel dried. Page 6 and 7 in your Owner’s Manual goes over the operating instructions. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reconnect with us directly for assistance. We are here for you. Your Electrolux lady, Ruth

Quiet Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, a good DW. Very quiet. Start button should have an LED indicator. You're not sure you've pressed it correctly until the door is closed and the machine starts. Cleans glasses better than my previous DW. The fold down racks are useful, but I'm not a big fan of the angle and short length of the tines.
