Works fairly well, except it is almost too quiet to the point where you aren't sure if it is finished running. Bought one with hidden controls because we have small children, but would recommend buying one where you can actually see the countdown of how much time is remaining and/or know when the cycle is complete.
I would recommend this to a friend!

silent running

I have a very small house and when I remodeled the kitchen, quiet appliances was my top priority. That was the main reason I purchased this dishwasher and I liked the look which matched my other appliance choices. I have been very satisfied with this dishwasher. It is unbelieveable how quiet it is - even the installer had to put his ear to the door and even open the door to make sure it was running. As far as cleaning, I've never had a dishwasher before so I don't have a comparison, but I've found that I do have to do a good rinse of the dishes before loading. The dishes aren't always dry at the end of the cycle - but I'm really very happy with this product.

My obcession with quality

Electrolux is my favorite brand so far, so much for the money. Function, style,durable and just plai beautiful. I have an Electrolux refrigerator,dishwasher,dualfuel range. I like them best of all the appliances I have had over the last 40 years. Even the dishwasher is fun to use. I could just look at the range and refrigerator, they are so industrial and modern.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Have had this unit for 2 plus years. ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING that could go wrong, went wrong. service calls are three weeks apart. The only thing consistent about this washer is that it breaks consistently every 2 months.I can set my watch by it.They are now FINALLY replacing it, but based on all of the other reviews, I don't know if it is going to help.

Pros.. Very quit! I can't tell it's running unless I look at the remaining time in the face display.
Cons.. 9 times out of 10 something is dirty, I've been told by the service tech my dishes are to clean to start, I'm using to much soap, I should use powder soap not gel. Never is everything dry. I'm also not happy with the handle, just look at the hand towel and it falls off onto the floor.

Awful. Replaced the control board within 1-2 months. Took a half dozen technician trips to get that done. Now machine is completely non-functioning, and control board has failed again. Search for on-line reviews, Electrolux dishwashers are awful.

over the the years i have purchased alot of dishwashers, they always make alot of noises. but since i have gotten the electrolux, i have to remind my husband it is running, it is the quiestist machine i have ever had. i would highly recommend it to anyone who needs one.

I purchased this dishwasher just over 6 months ago when I remodeled my kitchen. I wanted a dishwasher with a smooth stainless steel front so buttons wouldn't show and get pushed accidentally. This dishwasher is very quiet; I often find myself checking to make sure it is on! The stainless steel inside does leave watermarks after running and I have to use the hot water setting to get everything clean. Overall it looks great in the kitchen and does clean my dishes.
