For the most part, the washer runs and runs well. It won't dry the dishes for some reason and it leaves soap residue on the plates. But it has been reliabile for nearly four years.
Currently the system is giving me an Er 01 code, which suggests that there is a water buildup in the base. I have removed the water and, I believe, the cause of the buildup -- some broken glass in the bottom. Unfortunately, there is no reset mechanism -- or at least there is none described in the owner's manual -- so I can't test whether it is working or not.
Any suggestions on how to reset the electronics on the door would be appreciated.

The top level is not suitable for our glassware. Unless each piece is wedged in, it tips over. Therefore, it is slow and inefficient to load.
Also, we have to rinse our dishes well before loading them. Otherwise, they often are not clean, even when we use the heavy wash cycle.This is not what it was advertised to be.

We bought this dishwasher because we trusted the brand name and liked the design and the idea of it being quiet. It is very quiet for sure and it does look attractive, but it is a terrible dishwasher. If we don't meticulously wash the dishes by hand they won't get clean inside the washer. So we basically really use it as a final rinser and dryer, and it actually does not do a good job of drying stuff either. Especially funky shaped glasses and plastic stuff. We have 2.5 year old twins so thus we have a few plastic dishes from them. We also have had reliability issues and had the appliance repair person over at our house more often than Norm visited Cheers, or at the very least he knows what we are calling about when we call before we name the appliance.
As it is we would not buy another Electrolux dishwasher and more than likely no other appliance from the brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best Dishwasher Ever !

My new Electrolux dishwasher is the best dishwasher ever ! It is quiet, efficient, offers many wash and dry options and has adjustable racks. The stainless steel interior is always shiny and fresh. Very pleased with my first Electrolux appliances !

Sleek,quiet dishwasher

Overall we are very pleased with this dishwasher. It is extremely quiet and does a great job cleaning dishes. Drying performance on plastic is not fantastic but using a rinse/drying aid improves it. Because it is so quiet, a more visible indicator showing it is running (or complete) would be useful. We had a maintenance issue after about 6 months - dishwasher was indicating a leak and technician ended up replacing the motor. Warranty service was pretty efficient. Overall I would purchase this dishwasher again.

I REMODELED MY KITCHEN AND WANTED THE MOST QUIET DUSHWASHER MADE. AND ALTHOUGH IT WAS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN THE OTHERS YOU CAN NEVER TELL WHEN IT;S ON. IT;S THE BEST MONEY I EVER SPENT.
