Very Quiet!

We purchased this dishwasher because we wanted something quieter...it is very quiet and we can't even hardly hear it running. It holds lots of dishes and has the tall tub so our larger plates and platters fit in nicely. However, after trying several brands of detergent, we have to use the tablets....all the others make a huge mess in the dishwasher as if the water is not cleaning up well...and we have a water softener. There is always 1-2 dishes that do not come out clean, namely dishes where food was cooked in the microwave. Even after soaking the dishes then washing in the dishwasher, there is still residue. Very disappointed about that. But all in all, we have learned to deal with these issues. For the amount of money spent on this product over other dishwashers, we would probably tell people to seek out the cheaper models.

Broke down 3 times in less then 2 years.

We did not encounter any problems the first 7 months, on the 8th month the pump stopped working and all the lights stayed on so you couldn't use it. A few months after that we noticed the delay start wasn't working, that got fixed. Now here it is 11 months later and the pump is out again. For the amount of money you pay for these products I would expect to get at least 5 yrs of use before encounter ANY problems, but I guess I expect too much.

Not worth the $$$$$

Dishes on Top Rack do not get cleaned on Normal Cycle. (have to use sanitize cycle)
Lower Rack has a poor design. Items are to close. (have to leave an empty space between items)
Material on interior door is different than the rest of interior. It has stains on it, and gives impression the rest of the interior is dirty.
We have used this dishwasher daily for 18 months.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the Dishwasher it lasted 1.5yr Should have bought the chep one , could have bought 2 for the price that I payed for this one .
P.S. The last dishwasher lasted 12yr still worked should have kept it, thought we
would upgrade

My wife and I bought an electrolux vacuum early in our married life. The vacuum has served us well for 20 years. It was expensive for us to buy 20 years ago but it has served us well. Two years ago we had need of a new dishwasher and assumed that Electrolux was the one to buy based on our contentment with our vacuum. Poor Judgement on our part. This dishwasher has distinguished itself by poor performance and laughable reliability. We have had several servicemen in over the past six weeks replacing various computer boards electronic sensors etc. What we have not had for the last six weeks is a dishwasher. Our vacuum meanwhile (like our married life) is going great guns. What has happened to Electrolux in the past twenty years. Pity Pity pity so very sad. Such a shot reputation.

I have owned my dishwasher for a little under 2yrs.In that time,my dishwasher has been down and in need of service more than it has been in use.It seems every 2 months the washer is not working and in need of service.

This is a bad product. Attractive, quiet, but unreliable. Pick a different one. We are on our second one (matches everything else!), and it is now broken.

Very Disappointed

My dishwasher constantly has a sour smell coming from the water standing in the bottom, which Electrolux tells me is normal. One of the features of this dishwasher is that you do not have to rinse your dishes but even if you rinse them the smell is horrible the next time you open. I am constantly running a short cycle to keep down the odor. This is a very inefficient product. I can't seem to get any help from my maintenance contract, can't wait for this product to wear out so I can replace it. This is truly not a Green Dishwasher!
