I love my Electrolux dishwasher

My Electrolux dishwasher has llived up to all the reasons I purchased it. It is so very quiet and adjustable racks accomodate even large bowls and pans, it does as super job cleaning, even delicate things like wine glasses. Another reason I bought this dishwasher is the leak detection system which is especially important if one has a hardwood kitchen floor as I do. Electrolux should advertise this feature more as many homes now have hardwood kitchen floors

Does not clean dried on food without a prewash hand scrubbing.
Pump leaked after one year and caused a costly repair that was past the warranty..

Best DIshwasher on the Market

We Love our Electrolux Dishwasher. With open concept design in home building it is nearly impossible to sit in the living room and watch T.V. with other dishwashers running... With the Electrolux EIDW6105 you never een know it is on. The racks are Heavy duty not like any other models we looked at and we really love the cleanlyness of our dishes. Thanks Electrolux!!

This is for sure the quiettest dishwasher ever, but I would take a noisey one anyday of the week if it would just clean my dishes! I have to wash EVERY dish before putting it in the dishwasher and if I miss anything it will still be there after the cycle is complete. I have owned three disherwasher before this one and they all combined didn't cost as much as this one and they cleaned ten times better!! VERY disappointted in the service this dishwasher does.

Stopped Working

Only after 2 years, the controller board failed. We are waiting for a replacement part but only because we couldn't afford to buy a new dishwasher at this time. Prior to the failure, the product did not clean as well as advertised. I had to use the hottest water and the longest cycle for it to get the dishes clean. The best thing this product offers is it quietness. You can not tell whether it is on it is so quiet.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am not in love.

My Dishwasher is 2 yrs old. It worked fine for 20 months then the electronics started to act up, it stopped in the middle of the cycle and would not start again after resetting and disconnecting. I let it sit overnight then it worked fine for a month or so and then stopped again. It does this routinely now, it works for a period of time then stops in the middle of the cycle. I have hesitated to call a repair service because I never know when it is going to act up. All the indicator lights blink when this happens. The washer stops at different points in the cycle usually before the final rinse and drying so the dishes have to removed and washed by hand but it has also stopped before adding the second detergent. I also purchased a washer and dryer at the same time and they work fine. The washer stopped once and I could not unlock the door but after unplugging it the door released and I restarted the cycle.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
