A very welcome addition

We recently did a kitchen remodel and added this built-in dishwasher as a replacement for our late 80's vintage other brand portable dishwasher. The owner's guide says this model is very quiet, so don't be alarmed if you don't hear it - it's working fine. I chuckled a bit - the old portable machine could be heard outside in the back yard.
But this model is "nearly" as quiet as they say. If you're close and listen, you'll hear it, but if you are in the next room - nothing, silence. Simply marvelous! And it does a great job of cleaning dishes as well. We couldn't be more pleased to have added this machine to our kitchen.
The appliances left in the home by the previous owners - nearly 30 years ago - were Frigidaire. One lasted up to the remodel, the other was replace only 3 years ago. They showed incredible durability over the years. Will this dishwasher last like those appliances we replaced? Maybe I'll be back and update this in 10 years and let you know how it's going.

Poor dishwasher

This dishwasher has been a nightmare since day one. Does not dry dishes properly - had WAY to many services calls and still doesn't work properly. Sometimes soap dissolves - sometimes not. Would never recommend it -- keep looking and I would recommend a different brand.
