I bought this and want to replace the incandescent bulbs with LED. Try and guess what size base for the bulbs. An hour later and I still do not know if it is an E12 (online supplier) or ???A medium base (per electrician)???? Go for a fixture with real light bulbs and forget the candelabra. This is a light fixture with a fan, not candelabra. Regret this purchase because of the stupidity of the design. Forget spending your day trying to figure out information that should be in the pamphlet.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this specifically for remote control use in my bedroom. I thought being able to adjust or turn off the fan without getting out of bed would be ideal. And being able to use the chain for lighting was a huge plus. Installation wasn't bad. However, I found that for some reason, using the pull chain for the light would cause the remote to lose communication. Seeing as I had to go outside to the breaker box every time to re-pair it, I gave up on using the pull chain. Also, I wouldn't call the one I received "bedroom quiet". Despite being perfectly balanced, it makes annoying ticking sounds. I may have to replace it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
