Can't handle two switches

Fan only operates on a single switch. We can't use our slider with this fan, so we have to operate the fan by using its pull chain.

This Hunter fan is replacing a 15 year old Hunter fan whose bearings had gotten noisy. Even though the fan looks similar to the previous model, which doesn’t exist anymore, this fan is noisy from the start. We had always appreciated the quiet operation of our old fan. I have to run a sound machine to cover the fan noise.
