[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When you have a Hunter fan you have a good one. We needed an outdoor fan for the gazebo. The old one gave out and there was no other though but the Hunter line. This a heavy fan you you will need another person to help install it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This a great fan and great quality. The fan motor is surrounded by cast iron, so it is very heavy and durable material to be outside. It took two people for us to install. The blades are a beautiful rustic color.

It is much more stunning in person than it is in the pictures.The finish and coloration is just beautiful and very well made! I love the remote control feature so you don't have hanging cords to deal with. This fan is very functional and efficient, well balanced. It is very quiet and circulates air really well. The instructions were easy to understand and It was nicely packaged and everything fit together and worked correctly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Original Original, 40 years old.

I have seven real original fans that I installed in my house in 1982. Most of them run year round. The only issues I have had with them in 40 years is I have had to replace about four of the wall speed controls and I need to get some balance kits to touch up the balance a some of the fan blades. My units do not have reversing motors. The blades are reversible. A little oil every few years and a good cleaning from time to time and they just keep running.

This is by far the best ceiling fan I’ve ever bought. We have a Hunter Original fan in our bedroom that is over 30 years old and still works perfectly! When building a new outdoor living space, there was only one fan we would consider to use on our project - the HUNTER ORIGINAL!
