Hunter needs to make this fan in more sizes

People buying these Victorian & older homes style homes to renovate here in Key West, Martha’s Vineyard and elsewhere have a need for period styled fans and have the money to pay for them. This fan in a 54” would be ideal -by only maki g a 60” you are missing a market that would put them in all their rooms. Every refurbished 2 blade fan is sold out on the internet. Just an opinion.

Other than mounting instructions good fan

Fan is unique and beautiful but Hunter dropped the ball with the instructions for mounting. I can’t tell if it is because this unit is made in China or if nobody in the US office ever reviewed the instructions. There is no picture of the U-bracket with the electrical box and what is shown suggests no box is used at all! I’ve never seen a fan requiring mounting to the structure. I had to fashion a solution to make work. Not what I expected from Hunter nor for this price point. Also, the included Allen wrench didn’t fit the set screws. Lastly, why provide screws in a mix of Phillips head and standard? Please pay attention to the details and act as a customer to improve your instructions.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We love this fan! It cools better than 4 or 5 bladed fans. We have a wooden tongue and groove ceiling and this allows us to see more of the ceiling which is beautiful! Also, we are very impressed with the quality of the fan.
