Love the small upper oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my range just before Christmas and have enjoyed using it. I especially love the small upper oven; I use it so often instead of the full size lower oven. The one derogatory comment I have is that the class open is difficult to keep looking clean. I've had those in the past and not experienced this problem. Unless I use window cleaner or something like that on it after cleaning it, it often looks greasy or spotty.

Really Great Range!! My wife loves it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this Whirlpool Range about 3 weeks ago after our Frigidaire finally gave out after 14 years. My wife bakes all the time - sourdough bread, Amish bread, pastries, those Hawaiian roll things, so we knew we needed a Range/oven that would hold up to a lot of daily use. This model of the Whirlpool lineup has been around for a couple of years, thus it's been thouroughly tested by the masses and has generated mostly very positive reviews. We'd never had a double oven prior, but it looked good on paper. When the Range was delivered and installed, it was a great looking appliance in our kitchen. I'm glad we went with stainless. The surface elements heat quickly and evenly. We were able to set the clock in 24 hour time which doesn't mean much to most but it does to the wife and me. My wife, who's worse than any guy when it comes to reading the instruction manual first, immediately threw in two lumps of dough into the convection oven and, well... it was.. sad.. Plan B... read the instruction manual and everyone of the subsequent loaves turned out even better than our old oven, and faster. Very even heating. The extent of my baking skills are frozen pizza and tater tots. There is no pre-heating needed, just set what you have in the menu and it auto converts the time and 20 minutes later your frozen stuff is completely done to perfection. My BIG worry was canning. My wife cans a lot of stuff from green beans and peaches, etc. to chili and veg. beef stew. Even using the BIG pressure cooker on this glass top, the Whirlpool took it like a champ!!! Great appliance. Plenty of room. Heats fast and cooks evenly.

Delivers as promised

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We still have to master the convection feature (cooking times are different with convection), but this oven delivers what it promised. Having a double oven is great. We're a little confused as to why the instructions state that when you use the quick pre-heat option, you must remove one of the oven racks. We called Whirlpool but didn't get an answer. One oddity is that we ordered and received the correct oven, but it has a "Maytag" badge at the on the front of the oven instead of one that reads "Whirlpool". The same company makes many different brands, so I'm guessing someone was snoozing on the job while affixing nameplates.
