Love our double oven!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this double oven right before Thanksgiving and was able to cook our 24lb turkey in the bottom oven, and then when we was carving the turkey we place 9 different sized casserole dishes in both ovens for warming til it was time to eat. We have large family gathering for the holidays, which is why we wanted the double oven, and it definitely did not let us down!!

Not for a family who bakes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second oven, the first was replaced as neither oven keeps consistent temperatures. The replacement is no different. The oven temperature varies by 30-50 degrees at any moment. If you are looking for a basic oven to cook pizzas, this still isn’t the oven for you. As a family who bakes, I’m so disappointed in this oven. I have to keep a digital thermometer in the oven to set the temperature at 425-445 to heat either oven to 375. Not worth the money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great upgrade range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was replacing a 40 year old range in a small condo kitchen and this range fits and gives the feel and features of a bigger kitchen range. Lots of automatic features and faster in both preheating and cooking modes. I like the two different cleaning options also. So far the faster steam clean is easy. When I get messier down the road it has a more advanced complete cleaning mode and there are no exposed heating elements in the way. I like the options of small meal and large meal cooking. The stove top features give me more options than I will ever need and numerous size options. It looks great and the shorter oven doors open better in my small kitchen. If I had a large kitchen this range would still be my choice. I do recommend this Whirlpool range.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased a similar model of this range many years ago. I LOVED that range. I HATED leaving it at my old house. I bought this range ASSUMING it would be as good as the old one. I was so very wrong. The small upper oven in the old model heated to 350 degrees in less than 5 minutes. This new model takes over 15 minutes to heat to 350. The eyes on this model take forever to heat up as well. I put a skillet on the front eye last night, turned it to high heat and it took over 20 minutes to get hot enough to scramble eggs! This is the worst appliance I've ever owned. Where did the toast feature go on the upper oven? Oh! Whirlpool conveniently left it off the newer model. The lower oven is a joke - it takes almost an hour to heat up to temp and neither oven cooks evenly. You must constantly turn your items to brown them evenly. This is not what you want unless you have 4 hours to cook dinner each night and the patience of a saint.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Enjoying the stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We really haven't been using it long enough for a good review but first impressions are great. I should mention the black parts of the stove are like owning a black car. They never look clean without deliberate effort to fight fingerprints and smudges. Cooking on it after fighting the old stove is a joy. I want this to be my last stove purchase for life. Wishful thinking I know.
