[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have it 2 weeks not happy with the size of top oven, to small. Bigist complaint is no room for plug, so stove wont go back to wall enough.

Mixed Feelings

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used this range for a month. Absolutely love the convenience of the top oven. Made a pie for Easter and used the bottom oven for the first time. No complaints about performance. But watch your toes when you open the lower door! It comes down quickly right to the floor!
The controls are easy to use and are raised high enough not to be a problem in reaching over small pots on the back burners.
I have one complaint about cleaning the glass top. Although I have a gas connection, I chose to replace the range with electric because I thought it would be easier for clean-up. But that is not the case. Twice I have seared chops on the stove-top prior to finishing in the oven. I heated an element that was exactly the size of the pan I was using. Before I had a chance to cover the pan with a splatter screen, both times the splattered oil cooked on the stove top; actually was bubbled up and impossible to wipe clean from the cooled surface. I had to use a small flat razor carefully to peel off the bubbled, cooked-on oil splatter! My suggestion is to use a pan that is larger than the food and element whenever frying so any splatter hits far from the heated element. BTW the splatter marks are permanent! Very upsetting on a new appliance.

The double oven is more valuable than thought

Great Freestanding Range but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The good...great array of features with this stove, love the ability to customize the burner rings on the glasstop to the size of pan/skillet. Nice looking and it matches all the other Whirlpool appliances with light stainless steel. Speed of heating up the burners is fast! Used top oven with no issues.
The not so good...those of us who like the back of stove flush with the wall may be in for a bit of a letdown. First the electrical plug outlet has to be on the bottom close to the floor and either to the left or right of center of the back of the oven because this is where the oven has recessed cavities to tuck the plug when its plugged into the wall outlet. If your plug is in the center of the wall, the stove will not push back and there may be a 1.5"-3" gap with the stove protruding in front of the kitchen countertops as we've experienced, annoying to say the least:( Last but not least, another reviewer brought this up, I didn't think much of it at the time, but Whirlpool, what's with the two .5" reverse dimples at the top of the stove on either side? Just another reason the stove won't go flush against the wall!

Epilogue...extra $$$ for us to have an electrician move the outlet to the left or right since ours is dead center where is a no recess cavity. FYI, we swapped this oven for a standard Whirlpool oven which had full cavities on the back, stove was right up against the wall. The reverse dimple effect, we'll have to see how much the oven can be pushed back, buts it looking .5" gap at least.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Takes too long to heat up
