Better than expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had been looking for a new double oven to replace our 20 year old Maytag Gemini for a couple of years. We like the big/small oven design as we can still cook a turkey yet have the other oven for other parts of the meal, We really didn't want the glass cooktop as we do home canning and it is not recommended on the glass. Conventional burners now days do not have the ability to make a large pot (canner/pressure cooker) come to a full rolling boil. And gas burners are the same unless you get commercial duty which are very spendy. Our previous experience with Owens Corning cooktop was a disaster. So we are very pleased with the performance of this cooktop, especially at how well it cleans up. The only issue we have had is that the timer buzzer is very quiet.

Purchased my stove November 13th, 2019 and it was delivered Nov 20, 2019. We have used it continuously since. I normally use the basic oven--not so much the convection (but have used it, too). I clean it by hand as I prefer a clean oven all the time. The top is easy to clean --and if you get sugar spots or other spots that attach themselves and don't want to come off, I have a special tool with a razor blade in it and it works great. I use it first and then put the cleaner on the top and wipe as directed. It looks brand new yet. You just need to put a little effort into keeping it clean and you are home free. Today, June 27th, 2020, we noticed the bottom of the upper oven is cracked along the front edge. We will contact the factory tomorrow to find out what can be done. Shouldn't have this problem, but sure they will handle it.
