Good Cook-Bad Cook

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When my last oven went out I was forced to go buy a new one. You see, my cooking skills are nothing to brag about. Hence ”Bad Cook”. However, after using this oven for about a month, I have been surprised at the ease and outcomes of my meals! My family agrees! So now I’m kind of a ”Good Cook” Thanks Whirlpool you’ve made cooking fun again!

Problem from the start

I bought this model about 6 months ago. Always very finicky about keeping the stove clean and that was one of the reasons we purchased glass top stove. The very first time it was used for cooking a taco dinner the glass top discolored inside the burner ring. The area appears to be under the surface top. Also the stove was cleaned as directed several times after use. We have contacted the purchasing store and Whirlpool checking on the warranty only to be advised it is a cosmetic issue and not under warranty. I would not have bought a glass top stove had I known these stove tops were so easily damaged.
I would not have purchased this product if I had known about this cosmetic defect.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stay Away! Danger!

I bought this stove 5 months ago. The safety gas valve has already malfunctioned filling my kitchen with gas after the oven was turned off! We left the house for a few hours and came back to a house full of natural gas. It took 4 days for the appliance company to diagnose the issue. It will take days to get the part and repair.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
