Not loving it

We had a Maytag Gemini that lasted 15 years, which I loved. The control panel went out about a month ago (right before Thanksgiving) so we purchased this because I wanted the double oven, and we hoped it was similar. We've had this now for about a month. Installation was no issue. It looks nice. The negatives in the reviews I read before purchasing, though, are correct--the bottom oven door landed on my husband's toes the first day. The cooktop is already scratched from an uneven pan bottom (although you have to look to see it, but I see it). I enjoy having the double oven and the different size cooktop options, but I'm finding it hard to manage temperatures in both the oven and on the cooktop. Water takes forever to boil; my turkey took 6 hours instead of the normal 4 1/2. Not loving it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Awesome Thanksgiving Turkey

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this the about 10 days before Thanksgiving, with our other oven going on the fritz. At Thanksgiving we had a house full, and the double oven was a life saver. We cooked the turkey in the larger bottom oven, and we were able to cook the accessories in the smaller top oven simultaneously. Worked out great on it’s first big test, and we love it !!!!!

Hands down, best oven we've ever owned!

Debated with myself for weeks prior to purchase about whether or not I really needed the double oven and I am so happy I decided YES! I do quite a lot of baking and this range is working out wonderfully!
