We bought another make dryer that did not work at all and it was replaced with a Hotpoint, which works great!

Performs perfectly!

I purchased this dryer a couple of months ago and have been very pleased with its performance. I had previously owned a piece of junk made by another maker that was supposed to be "high efficiency" but it would take sometimes 3 hours to dry an average load of clothes. With this dryer, I can dry a large load of clothes in 30 to 40 minutes! How wonderful! Thanks GE!

This dryer installed easily even changing the door swing was a snap. The first time running it surprised me being that it was so quiet. Great dryer all around.

I love this dryer, the only thing it's missing is the buzzer to let me know when it's finished. Other than that, it does a good job and it was very budget friendly! I like that the lint catcher is still in the doorway and not on top, which reduces the mess in my laundry room. Also, this is a larger capacity unit that an older model I had, yet it still fits perfectly where the original dryer was.
