Lack of great features

With my busy schedule, I want to remove dry clothes and put wet clothes in as soon as the dryer stops. This dryer has no buzzer at end of cycle. It also doesn't have a "timer", so I don't really know when the dryer is finished. Messes with my schedule.
I prefer a door that opens downwards instead of sideways. If you drop anything when loading, with this sideways opening door, it goes on the floor. Drying whites like socks and small items, I get hands full and makes it easy to drop things.

I bought this in December 2016. Dryer had to be exchanged. This dryer stop working March 24, 2017 and will need replacing or repaired. We have received 2 bad dryers in 3 months. I would not recommend this product.

I purchased this dryer a couple of months ago and have been very pleased with its performance. I had previously owned a piece of junk made by another maker that was supposed to be "high efficiency" but it would take sometimes 3 hours to dry an average load of clothes. With this dryer, I can dry a large load of clothes in 30 to 40 minutes! How wonderful! Thanks GE!

I purchased this dryer right after Christmas. Who really wants to have to purchase a new appliance two days after Christmas? I'm glad I did. I love my new dryer. It works great, dries quickly, quietly and looks great. You know I have been so pleased that I bought the matching washer. Highly recommend this dryer. It's not complicated to use, just set it and push the button. My husband did not want one with all the electronics. This dryer is pretty basic but I'm glad we got it. Just enough new gadgets without the problems.

I bought it as a house warming gift for my son. And each time he has used the very next time it doesn't work and we wind up having to get a repairman to come. What a major disappointment!!!!!!!
