Really like the features on this dryer. So far, I am very happy with this product. It seems to be very efficient and has a large capacity for sheets, bedspreads, etc.

So far so good. We've had this dryer for a few months, and it replaced a 25 year old workhorse which had been slowly dying.
I LOVE the features offered on this model, especially the steam setting. Items dry quickly, and I can dry a comforter without having to run numerous cycles.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Both the washer and Dryer work well. Easy to use and the steam feature does work! We thought it might be a gimmick.

I LOVE this dryer

I can't say enough great things about this dryer. There is a cycle for every type of laundry item, and they can be customized for each load. The dryer seems huge and the clothes dry quickly. I do not use the steam feature. The installer had the empty dryer running on steam after he left and I found water on the floor of the laundry room. I ran some clothes through the steam cycle and everything was fine. My only complaint is the buzzer that ends the cycle is not loud enough. There are three settings and I have it on the loudest. If the TV is on, you can't hear it. However, it is easy enough to see the amount of time left in the cycle and set another timer (on your phone, for example).
This dryer replaced a 24-year old dryer and I wish now I hadn't waited so long to get this GE dryer.

Bought this dryer 2 months ago. I have never had a dryer that runs as loud as this one and makes all kinds of different noises. Can hear running all over the house. I didn't really need a new washer and dryer. We bought a home and previous owners left theirs. I just wanted a clean new pair. Wish I had kept the old ones.

Bought this with the matching GE washer. So far, it's been great. Lots of cycles to choose from. Dries quickly and completely. Large capacity - which you really notice when you have to retrieve socks from waayyy back at the rear of the drum! Haven't used the steam feature yet - not sure how much I will use that. Love having a drum light (my old dryer didn't have one), that makes it easier to find everything inside.

My original dryer stopped heating. There was no part available, despite the fact that GE was required to have such. I got a replacement, a much lower level than I first bought. I am not happy with the replacement as it is not nearly as functional as what I had. I am very disappointed with GE and have decided, after years of owning their appliances, that I will no longer do so.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
