So far so good

This dryer works great. When we moved into our house there was a Hotpoint from the 70's that was still kicking, we were able to use it for 3 years before it broke. We decided to go with the same brand based on the longevity of the past one. So far its great and worth the cheaper price tag.
I would recommend this to a friend!

1st dryer went bad in 1 wk.-on 2nd dryer

This is the 2nd dryer. First dryer only lasted a few days. Sounded like every part was grinding against the other.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this dryer b/c it matched the washer in our laundry closet. It isn't loaded with dials for settings in order to use it.

We were limited because of size requirements, so this worked for our needs. But I'm glad because it was simple to use, and does a wonderful job of drying clothes. Very happy with our purchase.

Very light, tends to move when leaned on

This Hotpoint dryer is so lightweight that we put wooden blocks around it to keep it from moving. The lint filter feels like it might break at any moment, and it's hard to get the lint off the filter for some reason.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
