It seems like my clothes are dry faster than my old dryer. It is structurally very light and. Moves too easily.

This dryer does the job. Thw only negative was the buzzer was loud and scary. I had to get inside and Unhook it.

Simple Dryer

When we needed to replace our very old and now broken dryer, all of the dryers we looked at were on backorder for at least a month (thanks, pandemic). This Hotpoint was the only one in stock that fit our space and our budget. It is a decent dryer, but will not dry efficiently if you put even a slightly large load in it. It seems that the cycles are set to a certain time, and the machine is not capable of sensing if the load is still damp. We often have to start it again for at least 20 minutes of additional drying time. The buzzer at the end of the cycle is also extremely annoying, especially when using the timer; for some reason, the buzzer sounds for longer with the timer function. I have a feeling this machine is not going to last us as long as our old one, and I hope there isn't a lack of appliances available the next time we need to buy one. We definitely would not want to buy a Hotpoint again!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A simple but amazing Dryer

We got this dryer a few weeks ago. It holds a good amount of clothes and dries them perfectly. I used dryer balls, and that doesn’t seem to be an issue. I don’t hear them tumbling or anything.
My only minor complaint, is there there is no options for the buzzer. It’s so loud and long. I’d love the option to lower the sound or turn it off completely.

Only one that fit

Only bought this because it was literally the only one I could fit down my stairs to where it needed to go. That’s the only reason if not for that I would have went with a more reputable brand. As for the dryer it does the job, not overlay impressed with it’s drying, but it gets the job done for now.
I would recommend this to a friend!
