Better drying with Gas!

This GE Hotpoint dyer is a very fast and efficient Gas Dyer.Would defiantly recommend to anyone.

We purchased this dryer for our winter home. It isn’t fancy, but it gets the job done. I wish it had a couple more features like wrinkle release. The setting dial is a little confusing. For the price, this is an excellent dryer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This was the only gas dryer that would fit through our basement door opening. That said we are very pleased so far with its operation. Large drum and opening. Does not over dry the clothes on sensor settings. Our only disappointment was that it took 3 months to be delivered.

Just installed and used for the first time this weekend. Not happy so far. Takes loads much longer to dry than with my old machine. The end of cycle buzzer is ridiculously loud and there is no way to turn it off or even turn the volume down. Very sorry I bought it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We know issues like those may be inconvenient to deal with, and we’d like to assist.
Regarding the issue you’ve had with the loads taking too long to dry, you may want to check to ensure the ducting isn’t obstructed or improperly installed, and check the fuses/circuit breakers to ensure enough power is reaching the unit. More detailed troubleshooting tips are available on page 9 of the manual: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-90550-3.PDF .
