A very basic dryer

No bells and whistles. Just a very basic dryer. I guess you get what you pay for.

I bought this dryer when my other dryer quit. I,m not at all happy with it. It takes forever to dry clothes and never gets very hot. I have to dry really small loads of clothes one it takes about 2 hrs to dry. Would never buy again

Hi there - We are so sorry that your drying takes so long to dry your clothes and doesn't seem to get very hot. This would be quite discouraging and we can understand your dissatisfaction.
There are several possible reasons why you're experiencing long drying times. It could be due to improper sorting, obstructed ducting, or that you're underloading the dryer (causing improper tumbling). Please review page 9 of the owner's manual for additional troubleshooting tips and solutions: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-90550-3.PDF.
When a dryer tumbles, but doesn't heat, it's possible that a fuse is blown or the circuit breaker is tripped. Your dryer may tumble if only one fuse is blown or one breaker tripped. There are more troubleshooting tips on page 9 of the owner's manual (linked above) that may come in handy.

Great for the price

This dryer does a great job. My clothes are dried well, do not feel too hot, and does its job efficiently.

I bought thid dryer within the last month. I wanted something easy to use and does a good job and this fits the bill! I am very happy with it's performance.

I bought this dryer a couple of months ago and it's just ok,. It does the jpob - no frills, no special features.
The cycle alert is pretty loud and there is no way to turni it down or off. There is no light inside the drum. This is a VERY basic model. If that's what you are looking for, this is the one for you.
