I bought this dryer last month to replace a very expensive dryer that I had that was a huge disappointment. although this dryer was the cheapest dryer in every store that I looked in- it works better that the expensive ones I had in the past.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The dryer is great. Having a front loading washer means the amount of time needed to dry is minimal. I’d never heard of HotPoint b4 but this has been perfect for me. The only negative is the warning it’s about to stop is loud But honestly not a dealbreaker. Love my dryer!

Bad luck

Have had this for a couple weeks. Washer sounds terrible like there is a mechanical issue. Start button stopped working already. Have to jiggle it a bunch to work. For 3 weeks old this is not acceptable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We recommend taking advantage of your warranty and scheduling service with a certified GE Appliances technician that will be able to accurately diagnose and repair your washer. You can schedule service online at https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm or by calling 1-800-GECares (1-800-432-2737) Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. ET or Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET.
