I bought this 3 weeks ago and it is fantastic. I don't have a big laundry area so it fits just fine. Not a lot of laundry for 1 person so its great there too.

Dryer makes noise while clothes are drying

Drys Ok, but EOC buzzer annoying and sickly soundi

Only had a few days and seems to dry fine, but End Of Cycle buzzer can't be shut off and is very loud and sickly sounding. Starts out loud and then sound goes variable to the point of thinking the buzzer is defective. Not sure why they didn't provide a feature to turn off or at least lower the volume.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello- Thanks for contacting us. We are so sorry that your end of cycle signal is annoying. We can understand your desire to reduce the signal volume, however your model has a "fixed" signal and the volume cannot be adjusted. It will buzz automatically at the end of the cycle and once the timer moves to the OFF position, it will automatically shut off. If you believe there is an issue with the tone, we recommend taking advantage of your warranty and reaching out to GE Consumer Service at 1-800-432-2737. Thank you! Joyce@Hotpoint

Affordable dryer with all the features you need.

All the features you need at an affordable price. If you are looking for a no frills dryer, you can't go wrong here. Bought the washer and dryer and I very pleased with the purchase. It has all the features and settings we would use.

Loud and doesn't dry very hot

This product has an alarm that goes off many times very loudly when laundry is done. It cannot be turned off. It also takes a very long time to dry a load of laundry.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

In regards to the dryer not getting very hot, we recommend making sure your venting is good. Take a look at the following link:

Also you will want to make sure you have the right timer selection, fabric setting, and temperature selection. The timer should be set to dry and not fluff. Move timer pointer to mid-range selection. Make sure front of dryer is not blocked; air flow is needed to dry. Dryer should be on a separate 120 volt outlet. Make sure the gas line has been turned on for new installations. If the gas line is turned on and the unit runs, but it still does not heat, contact service. GE Consumer Service can be reached by calling 1-800-432-2737. We hope this is resolved for you soon.
