Takes two cycles to dry no matter what cycle is is

So far it hasn’t completely dried my clothes in a complete cycle. I filled about half way and I’ve used cotton, time , etc., settings and I usually have to run two cycles. I’ve used two 80 minute cycles also. I’m hoping it works better. Was told a dyer just dries clothes you don’t need anything fancy. I’m thinking I should’ve stayed with the brand that was used for 45 years only have had to buy 2 in all these years.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It dries well but ——

It makes a strange noise for about 30 seconds when it starts up. Is that the igniter starting up??? The buzzer on the end of the cycle is way too loud. Is there any way of turning the sound down. It scared me and my dog and it lasted several seconds. Can I turn it off completely?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The end-of-cycle signal buzzer is fixed and cannot be turned off and we apologize for the disappointment that this may cause. Regarding the start-up noise, gas dryers may produce a buzzing or low roaring sound when the valve clicks at the start of the heat cycle, start of ignition, and when the burner turns off. Better than expected

This dryer was delivered the other day. I have done several loads of wash and this dryer can handle my large loads. It is quiet, fast and perfect for what I was looking for.
