Start Button -- Terrible

We bought this dryer approx 2 months ago, and already the start button has broken 2 times!! Now going 2 weeks without a dryer because repairs next available is 1/12!!! Terrible dryer for a family of 4 if the start button cannot handle being used 3-4 times a week!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Value GE Hotpoint clothes dryer

The GE Hotpoint clothes dryer has all the features I like and it works well. It looks attractive in my laundry room. Economically priced. I’m glad it has a delicate and also a fluff setting.

I am in love with my new dryer! It’s user friendly the size is perfect for the space it’s quiet. It’s a beast with flair. I haven’t purchased a GE appliance that has let me down. Believe me we get our money’s worth of them hands down. Many years of usage. Thank you for your great products.

Works well and handles heavy loads

My one complaint is that there isn't an option to turn off the buzzer. And sometimes if I put a load of towels in and I head to bed I don't want the buzzer waking me up. It was the least expensive dryer I could find so just keep in mind sometimes even poor people want options. : )
