As seniors my wife and I want something that has all the basic desirable features without being too fancy technically. We've used many GE products around the house over many, many years and have full confidence in them!

Good For A Single Person

This is a good dryer but it cannot handle a full load from my 3.5cu Kenmore Super Capacity Plus washer. As a Single guy I like doing as little washing as possible but unfortunately this dryer can't handle full load from washer. Not a big deal I just leave out a pair of dungarees or 2, or 3 shirts. You get what you pay for and for the price this dryer is worth it. No interior light not a problem, just last dryer had one.

I love this dryer because it is easy to use. It replaces a very balky digital model that I had for many years. This dryer makes very little lint, heats up quickly, and is easy to anticipate how long is needed to dry a given load. I don't need fancy sensors or automatic settings, so this model is just perfect for me.

Fast drying

I'm very happy with my new gas dryer. It dries clothes much quicker than the old model I had. The only one dislike I have is the buzzer/ buzzers when it's almost done and then when it done. I could definitely do without that, and if I knew how to disconnect that buzzer I would in a heartbeat. My dryer is in my mudroom so it's loud, I suppose for people that have their dryer in the basement it wouldn't bother them. Regardless of the buzzer it's a great dryer and holds a extra large amount of clothes. Especially love that it can accommodate my comforters.
