Okay, in all fairness, my new dryer was just delivered today, and I’ve done one load - but I’m happy with the way the clothes were taking them out. That buzzer though, letting you know when it turns off, is enough to wake the dead! My cats were equally horrified when they heard it. Has anyone figured out if there’s a way to silence that sucker? Otherwise, it’s a dryer, it’s bright and shiny and new, and it replaces an ancient almond-colored one, and I’m happy!
Bought about a month ago for a rental property. Tenants love it. No digital displays or no use knobs. Just a simple, no frills nice looking dryer. It's built by GE. So far, so good.
This was installed 11/30/19, and the installer ran the dryer briefly to make sure it heated up. I used it to dry a tablecloth later that day; yes, the dryer dries, but it is extremely noisy! It is equally noisy when empty! I already have someone coming out in a week to see what the problem is.
