I bought 2 of these washers and within 2 months they are both broken. Both in different homes in different cities. both stopped agitating and spinning. I could never recommend a GE appliance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The spin cycle is too harsh on clothes, even on the delicate cycle.
