No deep fill. Clothes still dirty

This machine says it deep fill if you hold the button for 3 seconds but it only pauses. Not even a foot of water goes into the machine and the clothes are never clean properly unless I wash only 10 or less garments. After all this time I see that deep fill is not an option on my model but the manual says otherwise.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

BAD WASHER

Washer does not fill over 6 inches. Left on pause to soak socks and it drained itself and won't go off drain no matter what I do. Only 2 years old. Don't buy this washer!!!!!

Worst purchase I've made in a long time. I have to restart it at least 6 times. Press the start button and nothing lights go out. No clicks from the inlet valves unplug and lift the lid 6 times to reset it. Maybe it will start to fill and run if I'm lucky. This machine needs in a casino to bet on if it will start the casino would win 99% of the time because it won't start. Total price of junk.
Just like the other GE washer(a different model)I bought for my other house. Had their repair people out several time the after 3 months. The repair company was untrained and kept rescheduling for over a month and it still wasn't repaired.
