I am so happy with my purchase being a person with a visible disability TV is my window to the world .. now my new 55" window to the world just became beautiful !!
This is a fine TV to watch but not to listen to. Like almost all flat panel televisions, the built in speakers are a weak link. We struggle to use this product with external speakers due to the Android software. We bought two in 2019, one 65 inch and one 85 inch. We still use this one but dumped the 85 inch over software issues. Both sets have the same the same faulty quirk. When the TV turns on, it will toggle back and forth searching between its internal speakers and connecting to an external soundbar or AVR. Still drives me crazy. It was so bad that we dumped the big set from our home theater. It toggles back and forth no matter what the input source might be. We had zero problems with the beautiful video performance of this TV. But the initial switching back and forth between internal and external speaker audio drives me crazy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ensure that your audio system is listed and properly connected. If not, try replacing the HDMI cable. Make sure the audio system input is set to TV by pressing the INPUT or TV button on your audio system remote. Please check this link for more details:

My wife bought this TV for me a few years ago for one of my birthdays. I don't recall exactly how long ago that was, but this TV has been awesome since I received it. I've owed Sony products in the past and will continue to be a loyal customer as long as they keep making things I need.
