This is the best & most natural looking picture I have ever seen on a TV and the picture is as good in my home on an outside antenna as it was in the store. The controls are advanced and take some getting used to but the results are phenomenal. I have had it about 3 weeks now and still marvel at the picture. I was concerned that with speakers in the bottom the sound would not be as good as my old Sony tube TV but I am happy with the TV sound. When I use the TV with my Bose surround sound I get a true home theater experience.

Hello, Bobby Cleve!
Wow, what an awesome review! We are happy to know that the unit meets your expectation. Thank you for choosing Sony!
We’ve had this tv for a while now and it’s still a pleasure turning it on! We had owned a Sony Bravia for 10 years before this, and it was still in perfect working order, but I felt we were missing out on having a high definition tv, so I researched for ages before buying this, and although this was slightly more expensive than the LG I was also interested in I decided that the reliability of our old Sony counted for a lot. I’ve nothing bad to say about it, it was straight forward to set up and as I said before, the picture quality is great and the apps it comes with are excellent.

I upgraded from a 9 year old 46XBR TV. The new set has a beautiful picture and some good features, but some I don't like.
When changing channels,I have 3 choices, large, small, or none. Since I only need to see the channel number when changing channels, I selected small. When the channel is changed, the channel info shows but one third of the top screen is darkened which last about 7 seconds. All I want to do is see the number and that's it. I know I can use the Display button but I don't really want to press it every time I change a channel.
The sound options are unnecessarily complicated and nothing is intuitive.
The Home menu requires a lot of buttons to get where I want to go.
On the drop down menus, some of which are pretty long, I have seen menus where I could press the up button and it would go down to the bottom if that's where I want to be. On this set I have to scroll down. Maybe nitpicking but if the action is available it should be included.
